Residents get ready for bed. Some need help with personal care or getting comfortable. Others simply want someone to talk to. And for residents living with dementia, evenings can sometimes bring additional confusion, anxiety, or restlessness. That's why the caregiver walking through the door at 3:00 PM matters. At Nagel Assisted Living in Waconia, we're looking for Evening Caregivers who can help make the final hours of the day feel comfortable, familiar, and safe . Why Join Our Evening Team? $18.00

•$22.00/hour based on experience +$1.00/hour evening differential +$1.00/hour weekend differential Earn up to $24.00/hour on weekend evening shifts , based on experience Full-Time or Part-Time Consistent 3:00 PM

•11:30 PM schedule Every other weekend Work in Assisted Living and Memory Care Build ongoing relationships with the residents you care for Training and opportunities to grow your caregiving skills Join a supportive, family-owned senior living organization What You'll Do As an Evening Caregiver, you'll help residents transition comfortably through dinner, evening activities, personal care, and bedtime routines.

You'll:

Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility Support residents during dinner and bedtime routines Provide care in Assisted Living and Memory Care Encourage residents to maintain as much independence as possible Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support Help residents living with dementia navigate evening routines Observe changes in condition and communicate concerns to nursing staff Follow individualized care plans Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment Bring Your Caregiving Experience With You Your experience might be as a CNA, HHA, DSP, PCA, Resident Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or Caregiver . Whatever your previous title, we're looking for someone who understands that great caregiving requires more than completing a checklist. We're looking for someone who is patient when a resident is confused, observant when something doesn't seem right, compassionate during difficult moments, and dependable for residents and teammates alike. Make 3:00 PM the Start of Something Meaningful At Nagel Assisted Living, you'll get to know the people you're caring for instead of seeing a different face every day. Sometimes you'll help with the practical things. Sometimes you'll provide reassurance during a difficult evening.
