Job Description

Job Title:
Senior Home Caregiver (HHA, CNA, DSP, RA, Nursing Assistant) |
One-on-One Care Company:
Summit Home Care, part of Home Health Care, Inc.
Compensation:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour + $32.00-$34.00 per
Bathing/Shower Visit Schedule:
Part-Time or Per Diem | Weekend Opportunities Available To Stand Out Email Ana Antanovich at ana.antanovich@hhcare.net with your resume and tell us: How long you've worked in caregiving. The types of clients you've supported. Your current availability and preferred weekly hours. The areas you're comfortable traveling to. You've Done This Before. We Value That. You don't need someone to teach you why dignity matters during personal care. You know how to safely assist with a transfer. You've learned how to communicate with someone living with dementia. You recognize when a client isn't acting like themselves. And you've learned that sometimes the most important part of caregiving is simply being someone another person can depend on . Experience teaches you things a training manual can't. At Summit Home Care, we're looking for experienced caregivers who are ready to bring that knowledge into clients' homes. We Need Caregivers We Can Trust Home care is different. When you walk through a client's front door, there isn't a supervisor standing down the hallway. We're trusting you. To follow the care plan. To provide excellent personal care. To respect the client's home and preferences. To recognize when something changes. To communicate when you have a concern. And to show up when a client is expecting you. For an experienced caregiver, that independence can be one of the best parts of home care. What Summit Offers $20.00-$22.00/hour based on experience. $32.00-$34.00 per bathing/shower visit. Part-Time and Per Diem opportunities. Weekend opportunities available. One-on-one client assignments. Independent work in the community. Variety between clients and assignments. Opportunity to pick up additional hours. Scheduling team that works to cluster clients geographically whenever possible . Support from an established Minnesota healthcare organization. Bring Everything You've Learned Depending on the client, you'll: Assist with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting . Provide mobility and transfer assistance. Prepare meals and support daily routines. Provide companionship and conversation. Assist with light household tasks related to client care. Encourage independence whenever appropriate. Recognize and report changes in condition. Follow individualized care plans. Complete required documentation. Help clients remain safe and comfortable at home . But experienced caregivers know there's more to the job than what's written on that list. You know how to make someone comfortable during personal care. How to redirect instead of argue. How to encourage independence without compromising safety. How to recognize that a small behavioral change may mean something bigger is happening. That's the experience we're looking for. Different Ways to Build Your Schedule Not every assignment looks the same. Some clients need longer caregiving shifts. Others need shorter visits. Our dedicated bathing and shower visits pay $32.00-$34.00 per visit and can be combined with traditional hourly assignments. Our scheduling team works to cluster clients geographically whenever possible, while caregivers who are open to working in a variety of areas may have access to additional hours. Who We're Looking For We're especially interested in experienced: Home Health Aides (HHA). Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). Direct Support Professionals (DSP). Resident Assistants (RA). Nursing Assistants. Assisted Living Caregivers. Memory Care Caregivers. Home Care Professionals. We're looking for at least one year of caregiving experience supporting multiple clients . You'll also need: Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license. Current automobile insurance. Ability to travel between client homes. Strong communication skills. Dependability and professionalism. Confidence working independently. CNA certification is welcomed but not required . Your Experience Should Count for Something. Anyone can read a list of caregiving tasks. Experience is knowing how to provide that care well . It's knowing how to make someone feel comfortable. When to speak up. When something doesn't look right. And how important it is to walk through the door when someone is counting on you. That's what we're looking for at Summit Home Care. If you've spent the last year or several years developing your caregiving skills and you're looking for $20.00-$22.00/hour, $32.00-$34.00 bathing visits, flexible scheduling, and the independence of one-on-one home care , we'd love to hear from you.
