Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Certified Nursing Assistant will work closely with our nursing staff to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient service and medical care. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support to residents, including assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with medication administration and maintain accurate records of medication usage.
- Utilize aseptic technique to ensure the highest level of patient care and prevent the risk of infection.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to provide individualized care plans, including behavioral health interventions as needed.
- Assist with medical records and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of patient information.
- Participate in patient education and support efforts to promote healthy living and disease prevention.
- Provide critical care services as needed, including assisting with ventilators, IVs, and other life-sustaining equipment. Skills
- Experience working in an assisted living or long-term care setting.
- Strong understanding of patient service and behavioral health principles.
- Proficient in aseptic technique and medication administration.
- Familiarity with medical records and documentation practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a critical care environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- OR certification preferred.
Pay:
$17.50- $23.
