Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist in delivering high-quality patient care to residents in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse. Assist in the mobility of patients, including transferring and repositioning. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients. Help with feeding and hydration of patients, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Document patient care activities and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff. Support nursing staff with various tasks as needed, including assisting with medical procedures and preparing equipment. Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program. Current CNA certification in [State]. Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and provide compassionate care.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move patients as required. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending. Ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the position.
