Job Overview This position is for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 5pm-9pm. We are professional and agile. We are a 24 room home with a 32 bed license. We are looking for people who have an active CNA license or NA experience. Applicants with an active L1MA are also highly encouraged to apply. We need coachable utility players. This is non-negotiable. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to residents across various care settings, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. Whether assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, or supporting medical procedures, your energetic approach will help create a positive environment for those in your care. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive medical documentation Transfer residents using common safety standards Provide compassionate care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient service across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, or home care settings Skills Proven experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or in long-term care facilities Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care Experience in critical care environments such as ICU or trauma centers is highly valued Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) and CPR confidently in emergency situations Skilled in using patient transfer methods to ensure safety during mobility assistance Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and caregivers while maintaining patient dignity and comfort Here's the standard for belonging here We care deeply about our residents and about the people we work beside.
