Job Description
Registered Nurse
- First Assistant (RNFA)
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current licensure as professional registered nurse in Missouri (Graduate nurse must obtain licensure within 3 months of graduation)
- Maintains basic life support validation & ACLS
- Successful implementation of nursing knowledge/process
- Demonstrates skill in scrub and circulating roles
- Certified in peri-operative nursing (CNOR)
- Demonstrates knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and operative technique related to first assisting
- Successful completion of educational preparation specific for RNFA and a supervised clinical component
- Credentialed as per hospital requirements
- Provide services within scope of practice
- Computer skills and communication
- If working as Patient Sitter, BLS and first aid are required
