Working under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you'll assist residents with activities of daily living and play a vital role in helping them achieve the highest possible quality of life. Responsibilities Provide exceptional resident-centered care in accordance with individualized care plans Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and personal care Assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and use of mobility equipment Take and record vital signs and promptly report changes in resident condition Answer resident call lights quickly and provide compassionate assistance Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed Maintain clean, comfortable resident rooms and change bed linens as necessary Observe and report physical, emotional, or behavioral changes to the licensed nurse Document resident care accurately and completely Follow infection prevention and infection control policies and procedures Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team Promote resident dignity, respect, and quality of life at all times Qualifications Current Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing Successful completion of a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, hospital, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare is preferred but not required Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding resident care We Welcome Candidates With Experience As Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Nurse Aide Nursing Assistant Patient Care Technician (PCT) Resident Assistant Caregiver Geriatric Nursing Assistant Skilled Nursing Long-Term Care Rehabilitation Assisted Living Memory Care Why Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation?
