As a Night Shift CNA, you'll play a vital role in helping our residents maintain their dignity, comfort, safety, and independence while working alongside an experienced nursing team dedicated to delivering outstanding care. What You'll Do Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in accordance with each resident's care plan Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and the use of mobility or adaptive equipment Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the licensed nurse Maintain clean, dry, and comfortable environments by changing linens, clothing, and incontinent products as needed Make occupied and unoccupied beds while ensuring resident comfort and skin integrity Answer resident call lights promptly and provide excellent customer service Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding when appropriate Accurately document care provided according to facility policies Follow infection prevention, safety, and HIPAA guidelines Participate in shift reports and communicate effectively with nurses and other members of the healthcare team Help create a positive, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and coworkers Qualifications Required Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in good standing Current BLS/CPR Certification Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a collaborative team Preferred Previous experience as a CNA in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, Hospital, or Assisted Living community Experience providing direct resident care and assisting with activities of daily living Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply!
