Job Description
Seeking passionate Patient Care Techs / Certified Nursing Assistants who are committed to delivering great patient care to hospital patients. You'll work alongside our nursing, respiratory, and rehabilitation teams in an acute-care setting. Our mission is caring for medically complex patients and our Patient Care Techs are a significant part of the patient's healing journey. Landmark Joplin is a 17-bed Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) and 12-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit, so your day will bring a variety of duties and a wide range of patients you support. Schedule & Pay Currently seeking to fill Full-time Day Shift Sign-on bonus up to $1000 based on experience. Flexible scheduling and Free Parking Day Shift 6:30 am-7 pm What You'll Do as a PCT/CNA Perform basic care skills under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, including vital signs, intake/output measurement, catheter care, CPR, restraint management, and bowel and bladder training, with accurate documentation in the patient record Support licensed nurses in meeting patients' needs across personal hygiene, skin care, grooming, rest, activity, nourishment, body mechanics, elimination, and psychosocial support What You'll Need to Begin High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) Certification (Certified Nursing Assistant for the State of Missouri) (preferred) Current BLS - Required upon hire 1 year healthcare experience (hospital-level experience highly preferred) An organized, detail-oriented approach and a strong team mindset About us: Landmark Hospitals is a privately owned, critical care hospital system with locations across the Southeastern United States.
