Responsibilities
+ Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding while promoting dignity and independence
+ Support mobility and rehabilitation exercises under therapist guidance to improve strength, balance, and coordination safely
+ Monitor and promptly report changes in patients' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff for timely intervention
+ Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment by organizing patient areas and removing hazards to prevent injury and infection
+ Assist with positioning and transferring patients using safe techniques to prevent pressure ulcers and promote circulation
+ Encourage and motivate patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation programs by providing emotional support and positive reinforcement Qualifications
+ Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required
+ Current BLS ( AHA ) upon hire and maintain current
+ Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
+ Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
