Our facilities offer a range of care levels, including long-term care, memory care, home health, hospice, and independent living, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and energetic Nursing Assistants (NA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient-centered care to our residents across various care settings. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for those we serve. We are hiring night shift and day shift aides Full Time and PRN. Shifts start at 0600 or 1800 and are 12 hour shifts. These shifts will include every other weekend. Duties Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates Support medication administration under supervision in accordance with facility policies and state regulations Maintain accurate medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while respecting patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards Use proper manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers and prevent injury Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and report findings promptly to nursing staff Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment Qualifications Current certification as a CNA or valid Nursing Assistant license required; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified within 90 (available at our facility.) Experience working with geriatric patients or in long-term care facilities preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic nursing skills such as catheter care and infection control practices Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices during patient transfers Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents! Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
