Job Description

Home Life Health Care is seeking a reliable and dependable CNA to make a difference in our care recipients lives. In this vital role, you will provide in-home care to 1 individual. Your energy and commitment will help foster a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for all individuals under our care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills while making a positive impact every day. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Support patient transfer methods safely, utilizing appropriate patient transfer techniques and equipment to prevent injury. Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, including catheter care, wound care, and medication administration following HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality. Observe patients closely for changes in condition or behavior, especially in specialized areas such as dementia care, memory care, or behavioral health units. Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in compliance with hospital or long-term care facility standards. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient service and support continuity of care. Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS/CPR). Ability to perform heavy lifting and safe manual handling practices to assist patients with mobility or transfers. Strong caregiver communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient-centered care. At least 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
