Duties:
```- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed
- Monitor patients' condition and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Assist with medical documentation and maintaining accurate patient records
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families ```
Qualifications:
```- Successful completion of a nursing assistant training program and certification (we do provide classes)
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or senior care is a plus
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is preferred (classes provided at facility as needed)
- Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus
Skills:
- Strong patient service skills, providing compassionate care to individuals in need
- Familiarity with physiology and understanding of human body systems
