Duties:

```

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed
• Monitor patients' condition and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
• Assist with medical documentation and maintaining accurate patient records
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families ```

Qualifications:

```

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant training program and certification (we do provide classes)
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or senior care is a plus
• Basic life support (BLS) certification is preferred (classes provided at facility as needed)
• Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus

Skills:

• Strong patient service skills, providing compassionate care to individuals in need
• Familiarity with physiology and understanding of human body systems
