YOUR DAY AS A VAN
DRIVER/(CNA-DESIRED/NOT
REQUIRED
) As a Van Driver at Greenbough Health and Rehabilitation, your day-to-day responsibilities will include safely transporting residents to and from scheduled appointments, recreational activities, and social events. You will be expected to perform routine safety checks on the vehicle before each trip, ensuring it is in optimal condition. Maintaining a high level of communication with the care team is essential, as you will provide updates on resident well-being during transportation. You will be responsible for assisting residents with boarding and disembarking, promoting a respectful and supportive atmosphere throughout their journey. Additionally, documenting trip logs and any incidents that may arise during transport is crucial for maintaining safety and accountability. If you possess a CNA certification, you may also have opportunities to support residents with basic care needs on occasion, enhancing their overall experience.
