Full Time 16hr shifts on weekdays ONLY (3p-7a) Job Summary The
LTC WOW CNA
provides compassionate, high‑quality care to long‑term care residents, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity. This role supports individualized care plans, promotes a positive living environment, and contributes to the well‑being and satisfaction of residents and their families. Minimum Qualifications Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. High school diploma or equivalent. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care. Clear background check and compliance with healthcare regulations. Preferred Qualifications Long‑term care or skilled nursing experience. CPR instructor or dementia care training. Strong communication skills and EHR proficiency. Multilingual abilities. Recognition or awards for outstanding patient care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Monitor and document resident health status; report changes promptly. Support mobility and exercise routines. Maintain a clean and safe environment following infection control protocols. Engage with residents empathetically to promote emotional well‑being. Foster positive interactions to enhance residents quality of life. Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and strong observational abilities. Physical stamina and dexterity for resident assistance. Time management and organizational skills.
Preferred:
EHR proficiency and specialized training. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices. Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment. Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech. All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
