Job Description

Direct Care Worker (DCW) / CNA - Part-Time DCW or CNA professionals to provide in-home care for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD) client . This position is ideal for candidates who are patient-focused, safety-driven, and committed to delivering quality personal care services while maintaining compliance with Medicaid and agency standards. ✅ Position Responsibilities The DCW/CNA is responsible for ensuring the personal care, safety, and well-being of assigned clients, including but not limited to: Personal Care Assistance Oral care and denture care Shaving and grooming (hair care, shampooing, combing, oiling) Bathing (bed bath, shower, or tub bath) Dressing assistance Toileting assistance (commode chair, bedpan, urinal - including cleaning and emptying) Feeding assistance as needed Transferring and repositioning Ambulation support Safety & Daily Living Support Maintain client safety at all times Observe and report any changes in client condition Follow individualized Plans of Care / Service Plans Light housekeeping Laundry Running essential errands Documentation & Compliance Accurately document services provided according to agency and Medicaid requirements Follow infection control and safety protocols Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and understand care plans and complete visit documentation accurately Training Requirements Must successfully complete a 40-hour Personal Care Services training program and pass the standardized examination designated by the Division of Medicaid (DOM) (if not already certified) Required Qualifications Active PCA or CNA Certification Clear background check Valid CPR/First Aid Certification (In-Person) Valid Driver's License or State ID Current auto insurance Reliable transportation Ability to work with ID/DD populations Prior caregiving experience preferred Job Type Part Time In-Person How to Apply Apply online at www.reliablehealthms.com For more information, call 228-206-7569#
