Job Description

  • Must complete paper application at our employment office located at 120 Boswell Blvd Rd.
in Magee, MS 39111. (Fairway 1st shift: 6a - 230pm) (Fairway 3rd shift 10pm - 630a) First, Second or Third-level Support Care position accountable for taking vital signs, assisting with care plan activities, observing, and reporting patient conditions and behaviors, and participating in rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers. May mentor or direct the work of lower-level employees. Communicates with doctors, patients, and families, and educates patients on care. May provide transport to offsite appointments and application of restraints when necessary.
Examples of Work:
  • Answerable for assisting with care plan activities, observing, and reporting patient conditions and behaviors, and participating in rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers.
  • May mentor or direct the work of lower-level employees.
  • Assists residents with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, bed making, shaving, dressing and other related tasks.
  • Accountable for teaching or assisting in developing client skills related to self-help, education, and socialization.
  • Performs environment of care checks (e.g., 15-minute checks).
  • Communicates with doctors, patients, and families, and educates patient's family of prognosis and any information specified by the doctor.
  • Responsible for transporting clients to offsite appointments when deemed necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Typically requires High School Diploma or high school equivalency, and 0-3+ years of experience. May require a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
