Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals across various care settings. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques. Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper procedures are followed for safety and accuracy. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal service, accommodating special dietary needs related to dementia care, Alzheimer's care, or other medical conditions. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning duties and adhering to infection control standards. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment that respects residents' rights and dignity. Assist with transportation to appointments or community outings, ensuring safe patient transfer methods at all times. Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, memory care, Alzheimer's care, and neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous. Certification as a CNA or PCA is required; additional certifications such as CPR/First Aid are a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards is essential. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities support is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with manual handling tasks safely.
