Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the healthcare team. Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Perform basic patient assessments and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff
  • Assist with mobility and transferring of patients
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks)
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control protocols
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures
  • Experience with patient assessment and monitoring
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks)
  • Understanding of physiology and medical terminology
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature towards patients
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
