We have a great Full-Time opportunity for a Night Shift Patient Care Technician in Billings, MT. Big Sky Rehabilitation Hospital in Billings, Montana is a freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping patients recover, regain independence, and return to the highest level of function possible following serious illness, injury, surgery, or other complex medical conditions. As a regional center of excellence for inpatient rehabilitation, we provide comprehensive, individualized care to patients who require intensive rehabilitation and ongoing medical management before they are ready to return home or transition to the next level of care. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively with each patient and their family to establish meaningful goals and create a personalized plan for recovery. Our inpatient rehabilitation program includes Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), with patients participating in an intensive therapy program designed to maximize functional recovery. Our clinical team provides 24-hour nursing care and physician oversight, allowing us to safely care for patients with complex medical needs while they actively participate in their rehabilitation. We commonly care for individuals recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, amputations, and other disabling illnesses or injuries . Through coordinated medical care, nursing, therapy, case management, and support services, we focus on the whole person—not simply the diagnosis—to help patients rebuild strength, mobility, communication, self-care skills, confidence, and independence. Required Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred CNA license preferred CPR Certification required One (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferredAdditional Qualifications/Skills:
Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures. Demonstrates awareness of current Infection Control requirements and practices Demonstrates clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelines Demonstrates appropriate use of supplies and equipment Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management. Effective organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. Ability to work closely and professionally with others. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.Responsibilities:
