PM Evening Shift:

Qualifications:

Active CNA certification required At least 1-2 years of previous contract healthcare experience Must meet one of the following: Minimum 2 years of direct experience in mental health/psychiatric facilities At least 5 years in geriatric care (long-term care, nursing home, or hospice) if primary background is elder care 4+ years in emergency or urgent care settings for candidates from acute care backgrounds Comfortable working in locked or secure psychiatric settings Strong communication and observation skills Compassionate, patient-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal support Monitor and document patient behaviors, mood fluctuations, and safety issues Support therapeutic groups and structured programming under supervision Maintain safety by adhering to behavioral health protocols Aid the nursing team with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to ensure continuity of care Uphold confidentiality, infection control, and safety standards at all times Enjoy the consistency of a 40-hour schedule, flexibility with shift preferences, and start dates available every two weeks for streamlined onboarding.
