• Urgently Hiring Guiding Light Dementia Care is urgently hiring an experienced Caregiver (CNA) for an ongoing every-other-weekend assignment with a client living with dementia in Cary, NC .

Schedule:

Every other Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 PM-8:00

• 25/hour , based on experience 12-hour overnight shifts Consistent every-other-weekend schedule W-2 employment Paid orientation and training Dementia-specific training and ongoing support Opportunity for additional caregiver shifts as available Requirements Active North Carolina CNA certification required Dementia care experience strongly preferred Experience providing hands-on personal care Comfortable caring for a client who may become confused, anxious, or resistant to care Dependable and able to commit to the every-other-weekend schedule Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle and transportation Active auto insurance Current TB screening or ability to complete required screening Ability to successfully complete required background screening Authorized to work in the U.

S. Responsibilities As the overnight Caregiver , you will: Provide continuous supervision and maintain client safety Assist with toileting and incontinence care Provide personal care and hands-on assistance as needed Assist with repositioning, comfort, and the morning routine Encourage and assist with hydration Maintain fall-risk precautions Provide calm reassurance and redirection Respond appropriately to confusion or resistance to care Monitor the client's well-being and communicate concerns or changes Follow the individualized care plan Complete required documentation each shift Remain awake and attentive throughout the overnight shift About Guiding Light Dementia Care Guiding Light Dementia Care specializes in providing compassionate, relationship-centered care for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
