Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients with their daily needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your expertise in patient care, medical documentation, and safety procedures will contribute to delivering exceptional healthcare services. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and well-being Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting healthcare professionals with tasks like catheter care, medication administration, and phlebotomy when qualified Ensure patient safety through proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer devices Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while managing medical records and documentation with precision Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide updates on patient status and address concerns empathetically Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in various care settings Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state requirements Experience working with diverse populations including geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia or Alzheimer's disease, and those requiring memory or hospice care Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks/Cerner) systems for accurate documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (CPR) certification Prior experience in long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), assisted living communities or home care environments is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and utilize patient transfer methods effectively Strong caregiver communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient service Join us in delivering high-quality patient-centered care where your skills are valued and your efforts truly matter.
