Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist patients with daily living activities, provide basic medical care, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients. This role is essential in supporting the nursing staff and delivering high-quality patient care. Duties Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Provide support in mobility and transportation of patients within the facility. Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records as necessary. Assist in basic life support measures when required. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, particularly those in geriatrics or pediatric care settings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical office areas. Experience Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical documentation systems such as Cerner is advantageous. Knowledge of anatomy and basic life support techniques is essential. Experience working with children or elderly patients is a plus. Understanding of medical records management and HIPAA compliance is highly valued.
