A Nursing Assistant provides hospital and nursing home patients with basic care and assists them with daily activities. Helps patients with dressing, washing, and feeding. May perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require completion of a regional agency-approved training program in order to obtain a certification before practicing.

What You'll Do As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll help residents live comfortably, safely, and with dignity by: Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting. Helping residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation. Responding promptly to call lights and resident needs. Observing and reporting changes in resident condition to the nursing team. Keeping resident rooms clean, comfortable, and safe. Encouraging resident independence while providing compassionate, person-centered care. Working closely with nurses and other team members to create a positive living environment. What We're Looking For Current North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Active listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry. Long-term care experience is a plus but not required. A compassionate, dependable caregiver with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
