AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a C.N.A Float (Home Care/Long Term Care). This is a Full-time position (32 hours per week); Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Every Other Weekend 8:00am - 4:30pm supporting Forsyth and Davie Counties. Summary:
To provide compassionate, basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides comfort/sensitivity to patient and caregiver's emotional concerns and needs. Respond appropriately to emergency situations. Maintains a clean, safe environment. Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Nursing Assistant program and familiarity with basic computer skills and functions. Currently listed as NA I with NC Department of Human Services with no substantiated findings of neglect, abuse or misappropriation of resident property. CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Must have excellent telephone communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as NA II or NA I in Hospice, home health or oncology.
Other:
Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
