Private Caregiver/CNA

Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and positive Personal Care Assistant or CNA to help care for our wonderful child with special needs in a loving family environment. Our child is non-verbal, has a very sweet disposition, and requires assistance with activities of daily living. We are looking for someone who is patient, engaging, safety-focused, and enjoys working closely with children and families. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is caring, energetic, and wants meaningful one-on-one work where they can truly make a difference. Schedule Monday-Friday 2:00 PM - 7:30 PM Consistent weekly hours Additional hours sometimes available but not required Responsibilities Assist with feeding and mealtime support Help with dressing, hygiene, and daily care needs Perform prescribed PT/stretching exercises Engage in play and interactive activities Provide attentive supervision and companionship Maintain cleanliness of the child's areas and equipment Laundry related to the child Assist with meal/food preparation for the child Work collaboratively with parents and other caregivers as part of a supportive team Transport child from school to home Qualifications CNA, PCA, nursing student, education student, therapy student, or experienced caregiver preferred Experience caring for children or individuals with special needs is strongly preferred Must be dependable, patient, and positive Comfortable assisting with mobility and personal care needs Ability to follow routines and instructions carefully Non-smoker required Reliable transportation required CPR/First Aid certification is required What We Offer Warm, supportive family environment All necessary equipment and supplies provided for safe care Meaningful and rewarding work with a sweet child Consistent schedule and hours Competitive pay based on experience If you are compassionate, team-oriented, and enjoy helping children thrive, we would love to hear from you.
