Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care across diverse medical settings. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work closely with patients of all ages and conditions, including those requiring specialized care such as memory support, post-acute recovery, or long-term care. As a CNA, you will be the frontline caregiver, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for every individual you serve. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's care by implementing tailored memory care strategies and maintaining a safe environment. Assist healthcare professionals with clinical procedures including catheter care, and aseptic techniques to prevent infection. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive medical records and documentation. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote understanding of care plans and foster a caring atmosphere. Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations. Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as home care settings.. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) including CPR certification. Prior experience with patient transfer methods, heavy lifting safety practices, and use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate caregiving for geriatric patients Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and ensure optimal patient service. Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 per week
