  • 1 Year Cna Experience; Computer Skills (Preferred)
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Job Description:
1.Performs routine personal care and assists with activities of daily living for patients. 2.Assists patients with body mechanics such as: ambulation, turning, positioning, transfer to wheelchairs/stretchers, and assists with range of motion. 3.Performs special procedures as assigned and notifies the nurse of any abnormal findings. 4.According to scope and nursing policy and procedure, documents nursing assistant care provided to patients. 5.Observes infection control measures. 6.Performs clerical duties in maintaining reports and records of the patient care unit. 7.Performs other duties delegated by licensed nurse. 8.Follows patient safety guidelines (for example, patient identifiers, labeling specimens at the bedside, etc.). 9.Admits patients and assists in completing and recording admission data as applicable within scope and nursing policy and procedure. 10.
Age Specific Competency:
Staff members will have knowledge of human growth and development through the life span of the patient and have the ability to meet the needs of and provide the care of these patients. The age categories to be included are: Neonatal/Infant 0
  • 11 months; Pediatrics 1
  • 12 yrs; Adolescence 13
  • 17 yrs; Young Adult/Adult 18
  • 64 yrs; Adult/Middle-Aged 65
  • 79 yrs; Geriatric 80+ yrs 11.
Responsible for self growth and education to maintain competence. 12.Maintains a clean, neat, orderly working area. 13.Performs other related duties as necessary or required.
