JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Clinical Nurse Director and/or Charge Nurse/Staff Nurse
DEFINITION OF POSITION
The Certified Nurse Aide I is responsible for administering direct patient care in a courteous, caring manner, and performing any other duties deemed necessary to ensure optimal patient care, under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse. The Certified Nurse Aide I interacts with unit staff members, patients, patient's family members, and other departments to ensure the comfort and safety for all patients on the unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional High school education or equivalent. Registration with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation, Healthcare Personnel Registry as a Nurse Aide I. Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
