Administer medications as directed by licensed nurses and ensure proper medication administration procedures are followed. Engage in infection control practices using aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in various clinical settings. Requirements Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the state of practice. Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring critical or acute care such as ICU or trauma center experience. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices; manual handling skills are essential. Strong caregiver communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
