Job Description
Quality Staffing is currently seeking skilled Certified Nursing Assistants to work in an Intermediate Care Facility, working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
Location:
Raleigh, NC The facility is a private, nonprofit, intermediate Care Facility (ICF/IID) serving a maximum of 22 young children who have severe to profound developmental disabilities and are medically fragile. The facility provides a comprehensive residential program that includes individualized medical, therapeutic, and developmental/educational services. The program is designed to assist children with multiple disabilities and medical fragility to reach their fullest potential. The care includes medical, therapeutic, and educational services provided in an intimate, homelike setting. Staff will manage conditions common among the children, including seizure control, Respiratory complications, Oral-motor dysfunction, and Neuromuscular impairments.
Scheduling Requirements:
Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Part-time schedules are not currently available

every other weekend required (both Saturday & Sunday)

Required weekday new-hire orientation, 8am-4pm

11:00 pm-7:00 am All assignments are 13-week contracts, 40 hours per week, with the option to renew or go permanent at the facility after contract terms have been met Rate (all shifts):
•Rate is a sliding scale and based on years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant ( non-certified experience does not apply) New Grad-2 years: $21.00/hour = $840/weekly 3-5 years: $22.00/hour = $880/weekly 6-9 years: $24.00/hour = $960/weekly 10+ years: $25.00/hour - $1,000/weekly
Required Qualifications:
Current North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry listing Pediatric experience or experience caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. Current BLS/Healthcare Provider (AHA or ARC accepted) Ability to communicate effectively with others, including excellent oral and written communication skills. Competency in computer skills. Sound judgment and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work within a team situation. Well-developed organizational skills and ability to manage/coordinate a variety of tasks and responsibilities concurrently. Ability to pass a health registry check, criminal background check, and drug screening.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage all aspects of the developmental program for children ages birth - 18 years. Implement appropriate developmental activities and perform regular assessments and data collection for children's residential goals and objectives. Follow through with lesson plans and/or activities adapted to match each child's skill set. (i.e., basic sensory learning experiences). Provide all aspects of personal care such as grooming, feeding, diapering, and repositioning, etc. All other duties as required and requested by the supervisor. Upon hire, you must attend a new hire orientation that will be offered from 8am-4pm, during the week.
