Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work with In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-care with one individual inside a home care environment with enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that patients receive respectful, safe, and effective support throughout their healthcare journey. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands on with our mother who has dementia. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates; accurately document findings Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment Help transfer patients safely using equipment like a hospital bed, walker and a portable bedside toilet and wheelchair occasionally and other patient transfer methods; ensure proper manual handling practices Communicate effectively with family effectively Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, memory care needs, or those requiring hospice or palliative needs. Prior experience working as a CNA in hospital medicine, long-term care facilities, skilled nursing homes, or assisted living communities is preferred. Demonstrated experience with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks involving manual handling and safe lifting practices is necessary.
