GED CNA Full Job Description What We Offer:
Our Emergency Department is a 26 bed unit that specializes in providing immediate medical care for patients with server or urgent illnesses or injuries. It is equipped to handle a wide range of services, including initial assessment, treatment, stabilization, emergencies, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions and potentially admission to the hospital.
Schedule:
7pm-7am, Full-Time - 36 hours per week

What We're Looking For:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience:
One year preferred. One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
What You'll Do:
Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Assisted Living units only:
Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living as scheduled and reporting any change in status to the Charge Nurse.
