32 hours Overview This position is essential in providing high-quality care to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Our team members play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a home or community setting. Responsibilities Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Offer companionship and emotional support to client. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for clients. Skills Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in client health status. Experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices. CPR certification is a plus; knowledge of vital signs monitoring is essential. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or those requiring long-term care is advantageous. Ability to work effectively within a team while also being self-motivated during live-in employment situations.
