A Nursing Assistant provides hospital and nursing home patients with basic care and assists them with daily activities. Helps patients with dressing, washing, and feeding. May perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require completion of a regional agency-approved training program in order to obtain a certification before practicing.

Position Summary We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Care Aides (PCAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide quality in-home care and support services to clients throughout our service area. The ideal candidate is committed to promoting clients' independence, dignity, safety, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning. Provide companionship and emotional support. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks. Remind clients to take medications as directed. Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional condition. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided. Follow individualized care plans and agency policies. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
Qualifications PCA Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Ability to pass background and reference checks.
CNA Requirements:
Current North Carolina CNA certification in good standing. Previous home care, assisted living, or healthcare experience preferred. Current CPR certification preferred.
