Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care techniques and ensuring a safe environment. Engage in patient education and communication to foster trust and understanding, especially when working with individuals with disabilities or in pediatric and geriatric populations. Requirements Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) recognized by the state licensing board. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices and manual handling techniques. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control protocols including aseptic technique. Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR required Excellent caregiver communication skills with a compassionate approach toward patients of all ages and abilities.
