Job Description

Overview Are you passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives? We are seeking energetic and compassionate Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team immediately for full-time or part-time roles. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential care and support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, home health, group homes, and memory care facilities. Duties Provide direct patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistance tools. Monitor patients' vital signs, observe changes in condition, and report findings accurately to healthcare teams while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Administer medications and manage care plans under supervision, ensuring safety and compliance with all healthcare standards. Support patients with specialized needs including dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, developmental disabilities, and memory care by implementing tailored care strategies. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with health standards. Document all care activities thoroughly in patient records, including medication administration, patient observations, and incident reports. Engage in ongoing training such as CPR/First Aid certification and stay updated on best practices for hospice care, home health services, and resident safety protocols. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism or dementia. Proven skills in patient observation, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and implementing care plans. Experience operating medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids is advantageous. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards essential for safeguarding patient information. Strong background in caregiving roles involving heavy lifting and physical support tasks needed for resident safety. Previous involvement in social work or long-term care settings that emphasize compassionate support and resident engagement is a plus. Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
