Support medication administration under supervision and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Maintain a safe environment by practicing infection control protocols and adhering to OSHA standards for manual handling and heavy lifting. Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care or phlebotomy when trained and authorized to do so. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure comprehensive care delivery tailored to individual needs. Skills Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS/CPR). Skilled in patient transfer methods using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices while maintaining safe lifting practices. Familiarity with infection control practices including aseptic technique and infectious disease care protocols.
