• Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting patients' physical and emotional well-being, demonstrating expertise in clinical procedures, patient communication, and safety protocols. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare teams by delivering personalized care that promotes comfort, dignity, and recovery. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, ensuring timely documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Maintain a safe environment by practicing infection control protocols and adhering to OSHA standards for manual handling and heavy lifting. Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care or phlebotomy when trained and authorized to do so. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure comprehensive care delivery tailored to individual needs. Skills Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS/CPR). Skilled in patient transfer methods using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices while maintaining safe lifting practices. Familiarity with infection control practices including aseptic technique and infectious disease care protocols. Strong caregiving communication skills that foster trust and understanding with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
