40 hours/week Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Travel Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. This exciting opportunity allows you to travel to different facilities, including hospitals, long-term care centers, assisted living communities, and specialized units such as ICU, emergency medicine, and behavioral health. Your expertise will help ensure patients receive personalized attention and support during their recovery or daily living. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques. Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions to identify changes that require medical attention. Support clinical staff by preparing patients for procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques, and ensuring adherence to infection control protocols. Document patient interactions accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and behavioral health interventions. Perform phlebotomy procedures and medication administration under supervision when required. Facilitate safe patient transfers utilizing proper transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across various settings including medical-surgical units, ICU, PICU, emergency departments, and long-term care facilities to ensure seamless patient care. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Nursing Assistant (LNA) or equivalent certification with active registration. Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or home care settings. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient safety protocols including basic life support (BLS) and CPR certification. Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is highly preferred. Familiarity with specialized care areas including ICU, emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, infectious disease care, and post-acute settings. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices and manual handling standards. Strong caregiver communication skills with the ability to work compassionately with individuals of all ages and backgrounds—including those with disabilities or complex medical needs.
