    Position Summary:
    Lakes Region VNA and Hospice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team. The LNA will provide essential nursing care and support to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN). This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide basic patient care, including changing bed linens, repositioning patients, and assisting with mobility. Observe and report any change in patients' conditions to the supervising nurse. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families. Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions.
    Qualifications:
    Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent.
    Certification:
    Current and valid LNA certification in NH.
    Experience:
    Previous experience in a home health care setting is preferred.
    Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with staff.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Knowledge of state and federal home health care regulations.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Must be self-motivated, dedicated, detail oriented.
    • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
