Job Description

Job Summary New Bonus rate program for weekend per diem staff, and new rate incentive for attendence /punctuality. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide essential direct patient care, support clinical staff, and ensure the comfort and safety of our patients across various care settings. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in people's lives through exceptional caregiving. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support medical procedures by preparing patients, maintaining aseptic techniques, and assisting healthcare professionals during treatments such as catheter care. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory impairments, or behavioral health needs to enhance their comfort and safety. Document patient observations meticulously in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality. Operate patient lifts such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings including hospitals (Level I Trauma Centers, ICU, PICU), long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospice care, or outpatient clinics to deliver comprehensive patient care. Experience Prior experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including emergency medicine and trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Experience providing specialized care including ICU procedures, infectious disease management, geriatrics, pediatrics, or behavioral health is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology fundamentals enhances patient service quality. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or hospice care are a plus. Hands-on experience with medical-surgical units or post-acute/sub-acute care settings will support your success in this role. Pay:
$18.92 - $19.50 per hour
