As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Take and record vital signs, weights, and other measurements as needed Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff Assist with mobility, including transferring and repositioning residents as needed Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents Support residents' emotional and social needs by building positive, respectful relationships Ensure proper documentation of care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy guidelines at all times Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Current New Jersey Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing CPR and First Aid certification (preferred) Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is a plus Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to care for elderly and disabled individuals
