Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Unit Clerk to support the nursing team in our skilled nursing facility. The Unit Clerk serves as the communication hub of the nursing unit, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and efficient coordination of resident care services.WHY WORK FOR US?

Maintain resident medical records and nursing unit documentation. Process physician orders and update resident information. Answer phones, greet visitors, and direct calls appropriately. Schedule appointments, transportation, and diagnostic services as needed. Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, families, and healthcare providers. File, scan, and manage confidential documents in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge paperwork. Perform other clerical duties as assigned.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous clerical or healthcare experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
