Job Description

Schedule:
This position will be scheduled to work 2 nights per week as a Nurse's Aide and 1 night per week as a Telemetry Technician Position Summary The Nurse's Aide provides direct, basic patient care activities under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse. Provides care and cleaning of specific equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment and the transportation of patients, supplies and equipment. This position will be a dual role and cross trained to cover as a Telemetry Technician as needed. The Telemetry Technician monitors the central receiving station at all times. The technician is responsible for identifying the patient's label and post rhythm strips on each shift. The technician communicates any changes in baseline rhythm to the Registered Nurse and secures a copy for documentation. The technician also provides clerical support for the patient care area under the guidance and direction of the nursing staff when assigned. Minimum Requirements
  • Previous clinical and/or hospital experience
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Current nursing student or CNA (will consider a non-certified candidate with a minimum of two years hospital Nurses Aide experience)
  • Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull Salary Range - $17.50 - $24.76 hourly (Based on experience) Additional information
