Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker to join our team. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals in need of care. This position requires strong caregiving skills, knowledge of at home assisted living duties, and a commitment to patient care.Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Prepare meals and help with feeding as necessary. Manage medication schedules and ensure proper administration. Provide companionship and engage in activities to enhance the care recipient's well-being. Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment. Assist with mobility (using walkers, wheelchairs, etc.) and physical exercises as directed. Monitor the care recipient's condition and report any changes to family members or medical professionals. Accompany the care recipient to appointments or outings. Keep accurate records of care provided and any incidents that occur.Skills:
- Experience in assisted living or caregiving is preferred, As well as in home assisted living
- Knowledge of logging medications
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work well with individuals with dementia and other memory issues
- Understanding of individuals rights, within their own home
Requirements:
- Must pass a drug test and background check
- Must be First aid and CRP certified
- Must have a fingerprint clearance card
- Must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience either in a home, or assisted living facility.
- Must be patient, gentle and kind
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Must be honest and trustworthy
Job Types:

$17.00- $18.
