Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated and compassionate healthcare team as a full time Infirmary Care Aide . This vital role offers a unique opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients at a religious Infirmary for the aged and infirmed long-term care facility. As a Per Diem Care Aide, you will play an essential part in supporting patient well-being, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities Assist with patient mobility and transfers ensuring safety and comfort at all times Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions to report changes promptly to nursing staff Support medication administration under supervision, adhering strictly to protocols and documentation standards Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Provide compassionate personal care including hygiene, dressing, feeding, and dementia or Alzheimer's care for individuals with memory impairments Follow aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient-centered care Skills Proven experience working in medical settings such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care environments Knowledge of vital signs measurement, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient assessment Skilled in medication administration, catheter care, and infection control practices like aseptic technique Experience caring for individuals with disabilities, dementia (including Alzheimer's and memory care), behavioral health needs or developmental disabilities Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Demonstrated caregiving skills in geriatrics, pediatrics, urgent care or outpatient settings with a focus on patient service excellence Days/Hours 5 overnight shifts 11:00pm - 7:00 AM (M-F and Sunday)
Requirements:
PCA, HHA or CNA Certification are
Required Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Application Question(s): Agree to follow the screening process which requires pre screening with Human Resources.
License/Certification:
CNA, HHA, PCA
