Gives basic nursing and personal care to residents/patients assigned Helps residents/patients maintain or regain activities of daily living. Helps residents/patients with personal needs, such as eating, elimination, bathing, grooming. Ensures residents/patients are physically comfortable and assist them with mobility and activity needs. Provides physical and emotional support to residents/patients. Attends to residents/patients' psychological comfort and social needs, such as by answering the call bell promptly, providing privacy, assisting with communication, and showing respect. Ensures a clean and safe environment for residents/patients. Assists the nurse with assessment and care planning, such as by taking vital signs, observing residents/ patients, and reporting and recording observations. Provides support services, such as transporting residents/patients or cleaning equipment. Takes direction from RN's and LPNs to conduct the care plan. Makes observations and reports them according to facility policy.Requirements:
Certified as a nursing assistant and in good standing with the NYS Nursing Assistant Registry Available to work every other weekend and alternating holidays Strong skills in effectively caring for residents in a calm, respectful, and patient manner Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Compensation:
