220 Steuben St, Montour Falls, NY, 14865 40 hrs/week guaranteed: 3 PM - 11:30 PM Evening (5x8's); No scheduling requests are being considered by clinical team. Staffing ratios for this shift are: 1 RN = 2 LPN - 3-4 CNA for 40 residents. 2+ years of LTC/Skilled nursing RN experience. Recent Lead/Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience for at 6 months to 1+ years - Required. BLS AHA is a must have. New York RN Unrestricted license required. Typical orientation period will be 1 day on the assigned unit. Scrubs of any color may be worn by the employee.

Job Summary:

The Professional RN Team Lead is responsible for time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization.

Direct patient care may include:

assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting patient's condition. Professional RN Team Lead collaborates with the care team, participates in interdisciplinary care, and advocates for patients. They will need to be able to drop down to an LPN Med Cart position as needed not very often and staffing permits. Professional RN Team Lead demonstrate time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization. Assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in patient's condition. Advocates for patient. Practices ethically and professionally within their scope, Promotes EBP (evidence-based practice) and best practices related to patient care.
